Is it ethical to experiment with animals? Why?
I believe it is ethical to experiment with animals. This is because if human needs to discover more and more in order to make life better for us and animals, I believe a few sacrifice of animals is worthwhile. This is to say, if by experimenting on animals and therefore, be able to save many more animals’ life. For example, after we experiment on a certain animal and find out that such and such environment is dangerous and harmful to their development. Then, we can obviously prevent such animal from living in such condition. Also if we find out what an animal think and needs, especially those endanger species, we can then protect them further.
Can psychology research be dangerous?
Yes of course psychology research can be dangerous. Psychology is still an infant science, there are many discovery yet to be make. This, therefore, means that there are still a lot of side effects on different experiment and subject that we do not know of. For example, a certain psychiatric tests involving medicine may have different side effects on different people. A new drug for a certain psychology illness may work for some people while some other made the illness worse. Other researches involving animals may be dangerous as well. This is mainly because we value human life more important than any other animals. Therefore, the death of animals is consider to be less significant and thus less caution will be taken during experiments and other researches.

Animal protection groups say that the intense shock that the animals used for experiments is unethical. The researchers assure them that the shock that the animals experience is at a minimum, but the animal protection obviously still disagree. Overall it does seem ethical because experimenting on animals for research is fine because 7% of psychology’s studies involved animals and 95% of it were just rats, mice, rabbits, and birds none of which are of much importance.

Good point :D By the way, i kind of disagree with what you said -- "few sacrifice of animals is worthwhile" So are you saying that a minority should sacrifice themselves in order to bring benefit to the majority? Well, this doesnt really apply to this concept, but it's somewhat related, so.. what if you are in a situation in which a boat is sinking because there too many people, and one of you has to dive into the water to save the rest of the people. Would you like to sacrifice yourself to save the others' life? Also, yes i agree with your point about preventing animals living in dangerous and harmful conditions, but what about the animals that get negative effects from the experiment? Or what if the experiment is not successful, therefore it causes more victims?
