Title:Asteroid Smashup May Have Wiped Out the Dinosaurs

(1)I didn't know about asteroids called Baptistina. I learned much more about asteroids.
(2)The research is very convincing, because it gives scientific evidence. It is also ethical. However, the theory only remains as an estimate, because there is lack of evidence.
They say that 298 Baptistina consists of a substance similar to carbonaceous chondrite, a rare material found in some asteroids, and therefore indicate that 298 Baptistina was a part of an asteroid. However, the material could have been made or put there by some other way than the one that they are arguing for.
Also, they started off with a theory, before they got the evidence. The evidence might seem to be proving the theory, but it could just be our hindsight bias or just a coincidence.
(3)I think they should research more further in this area. They could conduct research on the asteroids that are near our Earth now and compare to see if they are like 298 Baptistina.
(4)For me, this information was freaky. It scared me a lot, because it means that the same thing can happen to us. Below is a video related.. It's really scary!

That is a scary thing to imagine. I wish I can understand the video you posted on, though.
I'm a little confused.....I don't understand what psychology has to do with this. Is it about fear? |
