Research Assignment

Hypothesis:
If students were to take this pill then their memory will improve and they will become more alert. This pill is sure to be a success because it is absolutely harmless to the one that is using it. The pill is created out of only natural ingredients – nothing dangerous or chemically made (man-made). It is to be (highly) assumed that if a student was to take the pill and take a test, that student will score well compared to if he or she did not take the pill. shorten to a clear statement

Population:
The population or the group of people being tested on the product will be high school students. All students will be in the same grade level (age may vary). All students will be taking a test initially before the actual experiment.

Sample:
The population being tested will be divided into two separate groups. One group will be using the pills while the other group will not. Both groups will be administered a test a second time.

Independent Variable:
The independent variable will be the pill that is being tested. The pill is the one that will be affecting the outcome of the experiment.

Dependent Variable:
The dependent variable is how well a person scores by using the pill. The outcome of the scores depends on who takes the pill or not.

Control Group:
The control group will be the group of students that are not taking the pill and being tested a second time. same test ??
